The Twin Lights Memorial
What it represents: Every year these lights are displayed for a certain amount of time in memory of all
who lost their lives on that day. They are truly beautiful and inspiring when seen across the river in New Jersey.
As you can see by the photograph on the front page.
The twin lights symbolize so much more
than just light. We have an eternal flame burning at the grave site of JFK, a loving remembrance and a gentle reminder that
we will not forget. We can not light an eternal flame at the sight of twin towers where so many lost their lives, but we can
send up twin lights reaching to the heavens. Letting all who see them that we will not forget that horrible day; we will remember
all who lost their lives; we will never forget that dark day. Light is a beacon, a comforter, a soother, light is life eternal.
The twin lights are a gentle reminder to those who see them not to forget, to remember that dark day. The day the towers went
down, we became a Nation of One, and the world got a little smaller as countries also reached out to us. The lights symbolize
so much to so many, not just here in the United States, but other countries. It shows that we are not afraid and will not
be afraid. We will be one against terror, fear, and those that try to take or destroy life with terror and fear.
The lights they speak in a loud voice... We will not live in fear, No one should, May
we find comfort in the Light May those who lost their lives know that they will forever live on in our memories
and hearts The Lights they beam upward strong and bright toward the heavens

"Let The Eagles Soar"
Let the eagle soar, Like she's never soared before. From
rocky coast to golden shore, Let the mighty eagle soar. Soar with healing in her wings, As the land beneath her sings: "Only
god, no other kings." This country's far too young to die. We've still got a lot of climbing to do, And we can make
it if we try. Built by toils and struggles God has led us through.
And for Senator Ashcroft, his touches with the
Holy Spirit have left him feeling optimistic. Once, in 1997, while walking through a field on his 155-acre farm in Missouri
and praying about the spiritual condition of the United States, Ashcroft says he saw some eagles flying across the dawn sky.
The senator was discouraged about the national impact of President Clinton's moral problems, but the sighting of the eagles
conjured an almost prophetic message. He was inspired to write a song about America's brighter future.
